Mixing up CAA with NRC is a blunder

I'm unable to understand why a section of BJP leaders & supporters are mixing up CAA with NRC. This is further deteriorating the conditions as people have witnessed ugly side of NRC and they have no idea about the framework of propagated  NRC in absence of any credible information in public domain.

CAA has nothing to do  with NRC, rather CAA should help Hindu migrants to enlist as citizens of this country during NPR. I have no idea why BJP & it’s affiliates are not being able to convey this simple thought to people in general. I have nothing to say if they prefer to use these chaotic situation to distract people from other crisis like that in economy but if that is not the case, I think, they should give a second thought on persons representing the party or the govt in the media and also in social media.

Any retreat on the CAA is bound to have a negative impact on the image of the govt but continuance of such chaotic situation can't be appreciated either. It must be realised that prior to NRC, sealing of borders is a must. With porous borders in every other places, exercise of NRC is never going to yield desired result. Further, it should also be considered, why citizens of hinterland have to undergo such exercise and also if the cost incurred really worth their spending. Let's hope govt take all these factors into consideration before deciding on NRC and linking it with CAA by their representatives in different forums.
