Sorry, I don't buy that Hyderabad City Police killed rape accused in Encounter. There is more than what meet the eyes. 3 police officials have already been suspended for delay in lodging FIR & any wrong step in future would have further embarrassed them. Killing them was easy choice. I called Sadhnagar police station last night & got the FIR No. 7948/19 dt. 28/11. The funny part is that the charred body was recovered on 29/11 while police claimed to have a FIR on 28/11. Had that been on the basis of missing report, it would have been a General Diary, Not FIR which was not available in online FIR tracking system of Telengana Police. I tried to talk to Mr. Sreedhar (IC) by calling him several times but he didn’t pick up his mobile. Till now, we have been fed only what police police said or claimed without any cross verification. What IF they arrested innocents to save real accused? What IF they killed them to avoid questions on their investigation? Things look fishy to me.
