BJP went all out against UPA, Nandan Nielkeni and his brainchild Aadhar demanding constitutional validity of the project while it was in opposition. A few of them even went on to allege that Aadhar project was Christian lobby's ploy, which was being implemented, to get access to biometric record of citizens.
Now, once BJP came to power, all the equations have suddenly got changed. Even though the Supreme Court has ruled out Aadhar as a valid document to be considered for citizenship, Narendra Modi led NDA govt is hell bent to merge Aadhar with every documents of citizens. After it's decision to link Aadhar with Voter Id card and PAN card, now, it wants to link it, newly launched, digital locker as well. If this is done, anybody with a key to Aadhar records, shall be able to access every single detail of any citizen though Aadhar itself does not have any constitutional validity.
Now, the questions is, if Aadhar was implemented by Sonia under the advise of Christian lobby, as alleged by BJP then, what is compelling Narendra Modi to implement it now?
